Under Files in the right menu, you’ll see there are two options: Copy to library and Leave files in place. You have some options about how your files are imported. There’s one thing to note about the settings before hitting Import All. You can select them all at once so they’re imported in one go. You don’t need to bring in everything one at a time. You get import by pressing Import Media or going to File, Import, Media… The other way is by going to File, Import and then Media. The first is by selecting the Import Media button on the main library window. There are two different ways you can import footage. The editing timeline across the bottom is where you’ll drag all of the footage, titles, effects and music so that you can edit them into an awesome video!
